Exactly 5 years after the ground-breaking ceremony for the PADO Shopping Park, the ground-breaking ceremony for the PADO Galleries took place on 28.8.2019. The PADO Galleries were built right next to the existing Pado Shopping Park.
The Pado Galerien comprise around 21,000 m² of lettable space and around 30 stores. The tenant mix consists of high-quality, high-traffic brands such as Billa Plus, H&M, Intersport, TK Maxx, New Yorker, Kult, JYSK, Mediamarkt, A1, Humanic, Pearle, Pagro, Palmers, Palmers Home, Intrend, Eisgreissler, Servus Restaurant, Reiskorn, Dampfbär, Apotheke and Reformstark Martin.
Together with the PADO Shopping Park, the PADO Galleries comprise a store and restaurant area of around 32,000 m² and over 40 stores, which is unique in Austria in terms of its high-quality tenant mix and size. The catchment area of the PADO Galleries is also unique in Austria. In addition to the core catchment area of around 100,000 inhabitants, potential customers also include the several million annual visitors to the neighboring Designer Outlet Parndorf and the Parndorf Fashion Outlet. A survey conducted by Standort & Markt at the PADO Shopping Park revealed that 4 out of 10 visitors to PADO have visited the Designer Outlet before or after their shopping trip.
We also want to offer our customers exceptionally high architectural quality. For this reason, the internationally highly respected architectural firm BEHF was commissioned with the planning. In addition to the extremely clear and practical U-shaped design, a cantilevered canopy ensures that visitors can walk from one store to the next without getting wet. There are also around 800 partially shaded parking spaces available to our customers. The catering area is also impressive. A huge covered outdoor terrace has been created here which, in addition to an event area, also has a large animated water area.
The opening of the PADO Galleries took place on 17.9.2020.
